Healing

Exo 23:25-26 I will take sickness away from the midst of you. I will give you a full lifespan. The Bible teaches us how to receive healing and maintain health.

Become a Christian and give God first place in your life (because healing and health comes with conversion). Mat 13:15 For the heart of the people has grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing and their eyes they have closed, otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ear and understand with their hearts, and be converted so that I should heal them.

Know that Jesus can heal you regardless of your age. Jer 32:17 There is nothing too hard for God. Mar 10:27 With God all things are possible. Gen 18:14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? Job 42: 2 I know that the Lord can do everything.

Know that Jesus will keep you healthy and youthful all the days of your life. Psa 103:5 God will renew your youth. Job 33:24-25 Your flesh will be fresher than a child’s and you will return to the days of your youth. Psa 92:13-14 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bring forth fruit in old age, they will be fresh and flourishing. Isa 46:4  Even to your old age and gray hairs I AM He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you, sustain you, and deliver you. Rth 4:15 He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. Psa 71:9 Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.

Know that physical and emotional sickness does not come from God. Joh 10:10 Jesus said, the thief (satan) comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life abundantly.

Believe Jesus Christ died on the Cross to forgive your sins and heal you. 1Pe 2:24 He Himself carried our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed. Mat 8:16 He took our infirmities and carried our diseases.

Believe God loves you. Joh 3:16 God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. Eph 5:2 Christ loved us and gave Himself for us as a sacrifice to God.

Repent, renounce, and turn away from sin. 1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins He will be faithful and just to forgive us our sins; and to clean us from all unrighteousness. Psa 41:4 Lord have mercy on me; heal me, for I have sinned against You.

Forget your confessed sins – God does! Jer 31:34 I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.

Forgive others. Mar 11:25 If you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. Jam 5:16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.

Forgive yourself. If Jesus can forgive you – you can forgive yourself. Mar 3:28 All sins are forgiven. Mat 9:2 Be of good cheer your sins are forgiven. Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh (sinful nature) but according to the Spirit. 2Co 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold, all things have become the new.

Have personal faith in God, His promises, and His healing power. Mar 11:24 What ever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Heb 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please God, for the one who comes to God must believe that God is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Personal faith brings personal healing for self and others:

N

Jesus said to the Centurion soldier whose paralyzed servant He healed: As you have believed, so be it done for you. Mat 8:13.

N

Jesus said to the 2 blind men He healed: According to your faith be it done for you. Mat 9:28-30.

N

Jesus said to the woman whose demon possessed daughter was at home suffering: Great is your faith, be it done for you even as you will. Mat 15:28.

N

Jesus said to the woman suffering from 12 years with bleeding: Your faith has healed you. Mar 5:34.

N
Jesus said to blind Bartimaeus: Your faith has made you whole. Mar 10:52.
N

Jesus said to a leper (one of ten): Your faith has made you whole. Luk 17:19.

N
Jesus said to a blind man whom He healed: Receive your sight, your faith has saved you. Luk 18:42.

Make Jesus Christ your primary health care provider. Mat 6:33 Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.

Place your trust in Jesus Christ the One and Only Great Healer. A physician is a person skilled and specialized in the art of healing; a doctor of medicine. Many people refer to Jesus as the “great physician” however, physicians can only treat people, whereas Jesus “The Great Healer” miraculously heals and raises people from the dead! (Exo 15:28; 1Pe 2:24).

Jesus miraculously healed:

  • Multitudes (large crowd): The whole multitude tried to touch Him: for there went power out of Him, and healed them all – Luk 6:19.
  • Great multitudes (immense, countless): Followed Him and He healed them all – Mat 12:15 (Mat 15:30; 19:2; Luk 5:15). Just imagine the great multitudes that Jesus healed.
  • Many (numerous): He had healed many; so that those with afflictions pushed on Him to touch Him – Mar 3:10 (Mat 8:16; Luk 7:21).
  • All: The whole multitude were seeking to touch Him, because power was going out from Him and healing all – Luk 6:19 (Mat 4:24; 14:35).
  • Everyone (every person): He laid His hands on everyone of them and healed them – Luk 4:40.
  • Every sickness (illness or lack of good health) and every disease (a condition that impairs normal body functions): Jesus went….healing every sickness and every disease among the people – Mat 9:35.
  • All kinds of sickness and disease: Jesus went healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people – Mat 4:23.
  • Various diseases: He healed many that were sick of various diseases, and did cast out many devils – Mar 1:34 (Luk 4:40).
  • Infirmities (malady or disability) and plagues (destructive bacterial disease): In that same hour He cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and to many who were blind He gave sight – Luk 7:21.
  • Those oppressed by the devil: God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him – Act 10:38.
  • Those who needed healing: He received them….and healed them that had need of healing – Luk 9:11. If you need healing call on Jesus.

Jesus miraculously healed the sick, the dying, the maimed, and resurrected the dead as follows:

  • Fever (Luk 4:39)
  • Blindness (Mat 9:29)
  • Dumbness (Mat 9:33)
  • Deafness (Mar 9:25)
  • Lameness (Mat 21:14)
  • Paralysis (Mat 9:7)
  • Convulsions (Mar 9:27)
  • Insanity (Mar 5:15)
  • Leprosy (Mat 8:3)
  • Hemorrhaging (Mat 9:20)
  • Stuttering (Mar 7:35)
  • Dropsy (i.e. excessive bodily fluid) (Luk 14:4)
  • Disabled (Mat 12:13)
  • Maimed or those without limbs (Mat 15:31)
  • Dying (Joh 4:50)
  • Oppression (Act 10:38).
  • And He raised the dead (Mar 5:42; Luk 7:14; Joh 11:44)

Jesus miraculously healed those who came to Him in person:

  • Leper (Mat 8:2).
  • 2 blind men (Mat 20:30).
  • Blind man (Mar 10:46).
  • Woman hemorrhaging (Mat 9:21).

Jesus miraculously healed those who were brought to Him by others:

  • They brought to Jesus many who were demon possessed: and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all who were sick – Mat 8:16.
  • They brought to Jesus all that were diseased, and them that were demon possessed. And he healed many who were sick of various diseases, and cast out many demons – Mar 1:32.
  • All they that had any sick with various diseases brought them to Jesus; and He laid His hands on everyone of them, and healed them – Luk 4:40.
  • A father brought his demon possessed son to Jesus and the Lord healed him – Mat 17:15.
  • When the men of that place had knowledge of Jesus, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole – Mat 14:35-36.
  • Four men carried a paralyzed man to Jesus and the Lord healed him – Mar 2:17.

Jesus miraculously healed from a distance those who were too sick to be brought to Him. In each case someone else asked for healing on their behalf. They were healed from a distance without Jesus coming into physical contact with them.

  • Centurion’s paralyzed servant (Mat 8:6).
  • Mother’s demon possessed daughter (Mar 7:30).
  • Ruler’s dying son (Joh 5:47).

Jesus made “house calls” to work miracles of healing — and He still makes house calls today!

  • He offered to go to the home of a soldier to heal his paralyzed servant. But the soldier said, just speak the Word and my servant will be healed. His servant was healed (Mat 8:7).
  • He went to the home of a father and raised his 13 year old daughter from the dead (Mar 5:24).

Mar 7:37 Jesus does all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak. If Jesus can heal all of the above He can heal you because He is no respecter of persons – Act 10:34.

Regularly attend a church that believes in the healing power of the Gospel. Rom 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Take the following steps of faith if you are too sick to attend a church service for prayer:

N

Request a prayer cloth: In Act 19:11-12, it is written: God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul; So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. This method of healing is convenient for people who are too ill to attend church. A loved one or friend can take a handkerchief or cloth to the service to be prayed over by church leaders or request one at the service. Anointed prayer cloths are a point of contact and they represent God’s healing power. So by faith, when the prayer cloth is placed on a sick person the healing power of Jesus will make the sick person whole.

N

Call for the leaders of your church to come and pray for your healing: Jam 5:14 Is any one of you sick? They should call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the Name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will heal the sick and the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.

N

Ask another believer to pray for your healing: Mar 16:18 Believers…will lay hands on the sick and the sick will recover.

N

Have a family member or friend stand in for you at church for prayer: A centurion soldier came to Jesus for his paralyzed servant and a mother for her demon possessed daughter. When they went to their homes the servant was healed and the daughter delivered (Mat 8:5:13; 15:22).

If necessary visit your doctor, take medicine or have surgery. It is not a sin to visit a doctor, take medicine, or have surgery. You should do everything within your power to obtain healing. Today there are many dedicated health care professionals helping those who are physically and/or emotionally ill. But remember, doctors, medications, and surgery can only assist the healing process, they cannot heal miraculously.

N

Divine healing and health is a definite act of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, the Word of God and the precious blood of Jesus Christ, whereby the human body is supernaturally and miraculously cured, healed, repaired, delivered or set free from sickness and its power, and made as whole, sound, and healthy as it was before the sickness or disease. Divine healing and health for the human body is perfectly scriptural.

N
Christ died for our sins and sicknesses (1Pe 2:24; Mat 8:17).
N
Man cannot heal. Only God can heal – I Am the Lord who heals you (Exo 15:26). God has never used human remedies to heal.
N

God can do what the medical profession cannot. When doctors say, there is nothing more we can do, God says, I can do anything, everything, nothing that is too hard, all things, and the impossible (Gen 18:14; Job 42:1; Jer 32:17; Mar 10:27; Luk 18:27).

N
God made healing and health covenants with His people to heal them (Exo 15:26; 23:23; Lev 26; Deu 28; Mat 8:17; 1 Pet 2:24; Jam 5:14).
N
God has always kept His covenants and has healed multitudes by spiritual means (Psa 103:3; 105:37; 107:20; Act 10:38).
N
Health as well as healing was promised when people met certain conditions (Exo 15:26; Lev 26; Deu 28; Psa 91; Pro 3:1-8; 12:18; 13:3; 15:4; 18:8,21; Isa 58; Jam 5:14-16; 1Pe 3:10-11; 3Jo 1:2).
N

Spiritual means to heal is all that God promised and commanded (Exo 15:25; Psa 91; Isa 58; Mat 8:17; 13:15; Jam 5:14-16; 1Pe 2:24).

N

When possible, seek God first for healing before seeking help from man and human remedies. You are my God, early will I seek You. Seek first the kingdom of God. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Be not far from me for trouble is near; for there is none to help. The help of man is useless. My help comes from the Lord (Psa 63:1; Mat 6:33, Psa 60:11; 118:1; 22:11; 121:2).

N

Healing miracles are part of the work of the church (Mat 10:1-8; Mar 16:16-18; Luk 10:1-21; 24:49; Act 1:1-8; 1Co 12; Jam 5:14-16).

Ask God for divine protection from the side effects of medications. The following three verses teach us that believers have divine protection over evil people, evil circumstances, and satanic powers. Mar 16:18 Believers will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all. Luk 10:19 I give to you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing will harm you. Eph 6:16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.

When Elisha threw some meal into the pot of poisonous food he healed it (2Ki 4:39-41).

When Paul was bitten by a venomous snake it had no effect on him (Act 28:3-5).

Ask God for divine protection from surgery and treatments. Psa 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Psa 146:3 Put not your trust in man, in whom there is no help.

Ask God to heal you from a genetic or hereditary disease. A genetic disease can either be hereditary or not; a hereditary disease “runs in the family” and is passed down from one or both parents to a child, who may then pass it to his or her children.

Once you become a Christian you are a new person and all things become new. 2Co 5:17 If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation: old things have passed away and all things have become new. In 1Th 1:3 God promises to preserve your whole spirit, soul, and body unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The impossible is possible with Jesus Christ. Jer 33:3 Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

Believe healing is God’s will. Jesus said to the leper: I will heal you, be clean – Mat 8:2.

Jesus said to the Centurion soldier: I will come and heal your servant – Mat 8:7.

Jesus said to the mother: Great is your faith, be it done for you even as you will. And her demon possessed daughter was made whole from that very hour – Mat 15:28.

If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you will, and it will be done for you – Joh 15:7.

Pray for healing. Psa 6:2 Have mercy on me, O Lord for I am weak; O Lord heal me.

Pray in agreement with others for healing. Mat 18:19-20 If two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in My Name, there am I with them.

When possible find the cause and remove it. There are many causes of physical sickness, emotional sickness, and premature death. The medical profession tends to treat the symptoms – not the causes. When the cause is removed healing will follow. Possible causes are:

N
The sins of others (Exo 8:9-10; Num 13:25-14:38; 1Ki 14:7-18).
N
Personal sins (Deu 28:20; Joh 5:14).
N

Pride (2Ch 7:14).

N

Unforgiveness — forgive others, forgive yourself, and trust God to forgive you (Mar 11:25-26).

N
Witchcraft or occult practices (2Ch 33:1-13; Gal 5:19).
N
Satan and unclean demon spirits (Job 2:7; Mat 8:16; Luk 8:2; 13:11).
N

Sexual sins (1Co 6:18).

N

Illegal and prescription drugs, alcohol, smoking (1Co 6:20).

N
Stress related diseases such as anxiety, worry, tension, stress, anger, bitterness, hate, and fear (Phi 4:6; Eph 4:26+31-32; Psa 91:5-10).
N
Accidents (2Sa 18:9; 2Ki 1:1-18; Act 20:7).
N

Fear, doubt, and unbelief (Mat 13:58; 17:19-20; Mar 6:5).

N
Taking communion unworthily: 1Co 11:28 Let one examine themselves, and so let them eat of that bread and drink of the cup. 29 For the one who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to them self not discerning (understanding) the Lord’s body. 30 That is why many are weak and sick among you and many have died.
N

Criticism, slander, fault-finding, complaining, blasphemy, and cursing. Sinful words caused many plagues to come on Israel in the OT when they criticized and complained against God and Moses (Num 14:1-39; 16:1-33; 21:5-9). Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it will reap the consequences (Pro 18:21).

N

Overwork (Psa 127:1-2), lack of rest (Mar 6:31; Phi 2:30), lack of sleep (Psa 3:5; 127:2).

N

Poor diet (Num 11:31-33; 2Ki 4:38-41; Isa 55:2). Visit the Health page.

If the cause remains unclear the sick individual must continue to pray, believe, and seek God for healing and deliverance. Jesus said to pray always and do not be discouraged; and Paul said to pray continually (Luk 18:11; 1Th 5:17).

Stop worrying. Mat 6:25 Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not the life more than food and the body more than clothing? Mat 11:28 Come to Me all that labor and are heavy laden (weary, tired, grieved, exhausted) and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke (any burden or bondage) upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also in Me. 27  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world gives I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Worship and praise God before you receive healing. A mother whose demon possessed daughter was healed (Mat 15:25) and a father whose daughter was resurrected (Mat 9:18) worshipped Jesus BEFORE they received their miracles. Psa 42:11 I will yet praise Him who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Jer 17:14 Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved for you are the one I praise.

Avoid all negativity: Reject pessimistic, discouraging, gloomy, sad, depressing, unedifying, faithless movies, TV shows, news programs, literature, friends, family members, places or events. Phi 4:8 Think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report; virtuous and praiseworthy. Jud 1:20 Build yourself up in your most Holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Surround yourself with faith filled, Christ like, Spirit filled anointed Christians — not unbelievers. 2Co 6:14 Do not join together with unbelievers; for what partnership does righteousness have with lawlessness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness?

Stay happy. Laugh a lot, count your blessings, and surround yourself with people, places, things, music, TV shows, and movies that are fun, uplifting and positive. Pro 17:22 A cheerful heart is good medicine but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Pro 15:15 All the days of the afflicted are evil; but those who have a merry heart have a continual feast. Neh 8:10 The joy of the Lord is your strength. Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Pro 29:6 Sing and rejoice.

Stay humble before God and others. 2Ch 7:14 If my people, who are called by my Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Keep your vision of healing. Pro 29:18 Where there is no vision the people perish. Hab 2:3 The vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it lingers wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not be delayed.

Control your thoughts. ISa 26:3 You will keep them in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because they trust in You. Pro 23:7 As you think in your heart, so you are. Mat 9:21 For she said within herself, If I only touch his garment, I will be whole.

Control your words. Psa 34:12-13 Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days; keep your tongue from evil. Pro 12:18 The tongue of the wise promotes health. Pro 16:24 Pleasant words are health to the bones. Pro 12:14 A person will be satisfied with good by the fruit of their mouth. Eph 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth.

Surrender to God, resist the devil, and be persistent. Jam 4:7-8 Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Eph 6:16 Take up the shield of faith with which you can quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Serve God daily by giving Him your very best. Pro 4:20-22 Pay attention to what I say; listen closely to My words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to your whole body.

Stay in a close relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Jam 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Isa 55:6 Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. Joh 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Joh 6:37 The one who comes to Me I will in no way cast out.

Keep the faith – don’t be moved by what you see or feel (past sins, failures, circumstances, symptoms, test results, X-rays, scans, etc.). 2Co 5:7 We live by faith not by sight. 2Co 4:18 We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Rom 16-22 So the promise is received by faith. Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing. Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping. And Abraham’s faith did not weaken. Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully persuaded that that what God had promised, He was able also to perform. And because of Abraham’s faith, God counted him as righteous.

Believe God for a “speedy” healing and recovery. 2Co 6:2 In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now (at the present time or moment) is the day of salvation. Psa 31:2 Bow down Your ear to me, deliver me speedily. Psa 102:2 In the day that I call, answer me speedily. Psa 70:1 Make haste, O God to deliver me, come quickly to help me, O Lord. Isa 58:8 Your light will break forth like the morning, your healing will spring forth speedily. Jer 1:12 I will hasten My word to perform it.

Reject fear, doubt, unbelief, and wavering. Mar 5:36 Do not be afraid, only believe. Psa 56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in You. Mar 11:23 If anyone…will not doubt in their heart, but will believe the things which they say will come to pass; they will have whatever they say. Rom 4:20 Abraham, staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Jam 1:6-7 Ask in faith, nothing wavering. For the one that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that person think that they will receive anything from the Lord.

Don’t ever give up praying and believing for healing. Never accept sickness as a way of life. It is never too late for a miracle. Luk 18:1 Pray always and don’t give up. Exo 15:26 I am the Lord that heals you. Deu 7:15 The Lord will take away from you all sickness. Hang in there!

Know that God has promised you a long, healthy, happy life. Exo 23:26 I will give you a full life span. Psa 91:16 With long life I will satisfy you. Pro 3:1-2 Keep my commands in your heart, for length of days and long life and peace they will add to you.

Know that God does not want you to get sick as you grow older. Take real good care of yourself with sunshine, air, exercise, renewed mind, water, diet, rest, sleep, and laughter. 1Co 6:20 Glorify God in your body and spirit, which are God’s. Psa 103:5 Your youth will be renewed like the eagles. Psa 92:13-14  Those that be planted in the house of the Lord will flourish in the courts of our God.  They will still bring forth fruit in old age, they will be fresh and flourishing. Isa 40:28-31 The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not grow tired or weary. He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men will utterly fall, But those (of any age) who wait on the Lord will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not be weary, they will walk and not faint. Isa 46:4 Even to your old age and gray hairs I AM He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you, sustain you, and deliver you. 1Th 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your spirit, soul, and body be preserved, entirely blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Exo 23:25 I will take sickness away from the midst of you. You do your part by taking good care of yourself — and God will be faithful to keep you young and healthy.

Know that God will be Faithful to keep the healing promises in His Word. Luk 1:38 May it be done to me according to Your Word. Heb 10:23 He is faithful that promised. 2Co 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him, Amen! Rom 4:21 Says Abraham, was fully persuaded that, what God had promised, He was able also to perform.

Know that God will never let you down. If you can trust God to take you to heaven one day; you can trust Him to heal and deliver you here and now! Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? Heb 6:18 It is impossible for God to lie. Tit 1:2 God cannot lie. Jos 23:14 You know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you; all have come to pass to you, and not one thing has failed.

Promise God you will give Him the glory for your healing miracle. Isa 42:8 I Am the Lord, that in My Name! I will not give My glory to another. Joh 14:4 This sickness will not end in death but for the glory of God. Mat 15:31 The multitude glorified God when they saw the dumb speak, maimed be whole, lame to walk and blind see. Luk 19:37 The disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen. God gets glory when people are saved, healed, delivered, prosperous, filled with the Holy Spirit, and blessed!

Love God, love yourself, and love others. Mar 12:30-31 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. 1Jo 4:16 God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God and God in them. 1Co 13:8 Love never fails.

Exercise your authority as a believer over satanic forces that may be the cause. There is a definite connection between sickness and satanic powers. Mat 8:16 Jesus did cast out the spirits with His word and healed all who were sick. Acts 10:38 Jesus healed all that were oppressed of the devil.

Jesus has given you authority over satan, demons (disembodied spirits), and fallen angels. Mar 16:15-18 Jesus said, these signs will follow believers: they will cast out devils, speak with new tongues, have protection from deadly things, and lay hands on the sick and heal them. Luk 10:19 Jesus said, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will by any means hurt you.

Jam 4:7  Submit yourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. 1Pe 5:8-9 Your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour (destroy completely and quickly): so resist him steadfast in the faith. Eph 6:16 Paul taught, take up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil oneWhat you don’t use you lose!

Healing is in the Name of Jesus. Joh 13:14 I will do whatever you ask in My Name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Mar 16:19 In My name you will lay hands on the sick and heal them. Jam 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the Name of the Lord. We do not have the power to heal, but we do have the authority to use His Name to heal. Jam 2:19 The demons believe and tremble at the Name of Jesus!

Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk. Acts 4:30 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the Name of your holy servant Jesus. AMEN!

Suggested prayer for healing: O Lord God Almighty, the Healer of our souls and bodies, I come to You in the powerful Name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Please stretch forth Your hand that is full of healing and health and raise me up and heal me. Please take away my sins, disease, suffering, and pain. I submit myself to You Lord, I resist the devil, and he will flee form me (Jam 4:7). You Word says, You are the Lord who heals me and by the wounds that Jesus suffered on the Cross I am healed (Exo 15:26; 1Pe 2:24). I receive my miracles of healing and deliverance now by faith because I believe Your Word is true. I promise to give You all the glory and all the praise. I love you Lord with all my heart, AMEN!
