God loves you and has a plan for you now and forever.
The Bible says, “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, [Jesus Christ], that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
Jesus said, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” — a complete life full of purpose (John 10:10).
Here’s the problem: people are sinful and separated from God.
We have all done, thought or said bad things, which the Bible calls “sin.”
The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
The result of sin is death, spiritual separation from God (Romans 6:23).
Everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin (John 8:34).
God sent His Son to die for your sins.
Jesus died in our place so we could have a relationship with God and be with Him forever.
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). But it didn’t end with His death on the cross. He rose again and still lives!
“Christ died for our sins. … He was buried. … He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me” (John 14:6).
Would you like to receive God’s forgiveness?
We can’t earn salvation; we are saved by God’s grace when we have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
All you have to do is believe you are a sinner, that Christ died for your sins, and ask His forgiveness. Then turn from your sins—that’s called repentance. Jesus Christ knows you and loves you. What matters to Him is the attitude of your heart, your honesty.
We suggest praying the prayer below to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior…
Dear Father in Heaven, I know that I have sinned. I believe Jesus Christ is Your son and that You sent Him to save me. I believe Jesus was crucified on the cross for my sins, He was buried, He was raised from the dead, and He returned to heaven and sat down at Your right hand. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I believe all my sins are forgiven and I am now born again. Take control of my life and make me the person You want me to be. I will follow Jesus and trust Him always. Thank You God, for forgiving me and giving me everlasting life. In the Name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
If you prayed the prayer above…
- You are now a born again Christian (John 3:3-6; Romans 8:16; 1 John 5:10; 2 Corinthians 5:17).
- Your sins are forgiven (Romans 4:7; 1 John 1:7-9).
- You have everlasting life (John 3:16; 11:25; 1 John 2:25).
- You can ask God to help you in every area of your life (Matthew 7:7-9; 18:19; John 15:7).
We’re excited that you have made a commitment to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. This is the most important day of your life!
What to do now that you are a Christian.
Talk to God in prayer daily: Matthew 21:22 All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. Mark 11:24 Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. John 16:24 Ask and you will receive and your joy will be full.
Regularly attend a church that believes in the Bible, answers to prayer, healing, and the Holy Spirit baptism: Hebrews 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Psalm 122:1 I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
Read God’s Word, the Bible, often: 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Always obey God: John 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is He who loves Me. And He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.
Be a good witness and live for God by your life and words: John 15:8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
Trust God for every detail of your life: 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Seek God for the Holy Spirit Baptism: The baptism in the Holy Spirit is God’s gift of spiritual power to the Church (Acts 2:38; 10:45; Hebrews 6:4). I am going to send you what My Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high. When the day of Pentecost came, they were all with one accord in one place. Suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them (Luke 24:49; Acts 2:1-4). You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you (Acts 1:5).
Trust the Holy Spirit to help you daily: Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Jesus will never leave you or forsake you, He is with you always (Hebrews 13:5; Matthew 28:20).
