Travel Form & Airfare
If you are reading this, you have received the Travel Form and airfare receipt by email or postal mail. If you haven’t already done so, kindly mail us the following items without delay:
– The completed Travel Form.
– A reimbursement check covering the airfare amount, made out to Frank Butler Ministries.
Please mail to: Frank Butler Ministries, 9423 Clipperwood Pl., Houston, TX 77083.
Ground Transportation
You selected the “Driver at Airport” option when you booked the service(s). Please enter the driver’s full name and mobile number in the Travel Form (see above).
For the inbound flight, have the driver verify the flight’s arrival time since flights may be ahead of or behind schedule. For ease, the driver should wait in the airport’s “cell phone lot” or a nearby area. Once Frank has deplaned and collected his luggage, he will call the driver on their mobile to coordinate curbside pickup outside the terminal.
For the outbound flight, ensure that the driver arrives at the airport terminal with Frank at least two hours prior to the flight’s scheduled departure from a regional airport and three hours before departure from a major airport.
Arrival at Services
Frank likes to arrive 30 minutes early for the initial service and 15 minutes prior to any subsequent services.

Hotel
Ensure the hotel reservation is made well in advance to secure the best rates and availability. The room should be in a hotel that adheres to the following criteria:
- A hotel with a smoke-free policy is required. Hotels that permit smoking subject guests to secondhand smoke, its harmful residues, and the lingering odor of stale tobacco. According to the US Surgeon General, there is no risk-free level of secondhand smoke exposure, which can lead to lung cancer, heart disease, emphysema, asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis, allergies, and various ear, nose, and throat issues.
- Surgeon General | Secondhand Smoke
- About Secondhand Smoke | Smoking and Tobacco Use | CDC
- Health Effects of Secondhand Smoke | CDC
- A hotel with a pet-free policy is required. While hotels that provide accommodations for disabled guests with service dogs are acceptable, pet-friendly hotels that allow pets in any room are not acceptable. Rooms in pet-friendly hotels expose guests to fleas, ticks, dander, dirty carpets, unpleasant odors, and noise from pets. The American Lung Association warns that pet allergens can cause eye irritation, nasal congestion, coughing, breathing difficulties, allergies, eczema, and rashes.
- Pet Allergy | Symptoms and causes | Mayo Clinic
- Pet Dander | American Lung Association
- A hotel with a restaurant and room service is preferred.
- Workspace in room with a desk, chair, and WIFI access.
- Please arrange for payment and check-in procedures to be completed beforehand and have the room keys ready at the front desk for collection to prevent any delays upon arrival. If necessary, provide the hotel with a credit card to cover incidental expenses (WIFI, phone calls, snacks, room service, etc.) not included in the main bill.
- It is common for hosts to leave a “Welcome Basket” in the room. While a “Welcome Basket” is not required, Frank would appreciate some hand sanitizer, apples, bananas, red grapes, pears, unsalted raw nuts (excluding peanuts), and several bottles of drinking water (preferably Aquafina) for each night’s stay.
Thank you for accommodating Frank in a hotel that ensures a safe, clean, comfortable, and healthy stay.

Altar Call Help
Assign men to support Frank during altar calls, allowing them to make physical contact only when necessary, to remain vigilant, and to pray in silence.
Ensure one or two men are positioned behind those who step forward for prayer, accompanying Frank as he progresses. Organize the lines to be single-file, enabling catchers to navigate easily. Those awaiting their turn should stay in the aisles and approach the front as room allows.
Should anyone start to fall, assist by cushioning their descent and guiding them safely to the ground, ensuring they and others are unharmed. Once individuals are prepared, aid them in standing so they may return to their seats.
Take measures to safeguard individuals who are highly emotional from causing harm to themselves or others.
Altar Call Music
To create a peaceful atmosphere during altar calls, please play gentle, soft, slow-paced worship songs either through the PA system or live with a guitar or keyboard accompanied by two vocalists.

Singing
If you wish for Frank to sing a few songs prior to his message, kindly allocate ample time.
Upon his arrival at the venue transfer the song lyrics from his USB drive to your presentation software in MS-PowerPoint format to enable audience participation.
A high-quality acoustic-electric guitar is required, such as Epiphone, Fender, Gibson, Gretsch, Martin, Ovation, Rickenbacker, Takamine, Taylor, Washburn, or Yamaha. The guitar should be equipped with:
– A preamp featuring built-in bass, treble, and volume controls.
– Strings that are light to medium gauge and well-worn.
– A strap that connects to the guitar’s body, not the neck.
– A built-in or separate tuner.
For the microphone and stand: A microphone along with a stand that has a boom arm is needed.
Stage Plan
Place the boom arm microphone stand within arms length of the pulpit or music stand (tables are not acceptable). Tune the guitar and connect it to the sound system. If available, attach the guitar to a Chorus pedal or amplifier with the built in Chorus effect. Add slight reverb to both the guitar and microphone and verify that both can be heard through the stage monitor speaker. Please follow the stage plan outlined below and conduct a sound check BEFORE Frank’s arrival.
Upon Frank’s arrival, please arrange for an audio team member to be on hand to help with his setup.
