Food and Lodging
It is advisable to reserve lodging well in advance to avoid limited choices. We request the following standards due to past unpleasant experiences.
Smoke-Free Policy
- Lodgings that allow smoking expose non-smoking guests to the dangers of secondhand smoke, harmful residues, and the lingering odor of stale tobacco. According to the US Surgeon General, there is no risk-free level of secondhand smoke exposure, which can lead to lung cancer, heart disease, emphysema, asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis, allergies, and various ear, nose, and throat issues.

Pet-Free Policy
- While lodgings that welcome disabled guests with service dogs are acceptable, pet-friendly lodgings that allow pets in any room are not acceptable. They expose guests to fleas, ticks, dander, dirty carpets, unpleasant odors, and noise from pets. The American Lung Association warns that pet allergens can cause eye irritation, nasal congestion, coughing, breathing difficulties, allergies, eczema, and rashes.

Misc. Requests
- The absence of bed bugs, roaches, flies, mosquitoes, or other insects is mandatory.
- Free from dust, mold, and dampness, as these cannot be mitigated by air purifiers or ventilation alone.
- Doors and windows with operational locks for security and safety.
- Heating and air conditioning systems that operate quietly and efficiently.
- Microwave and refrigerator, if possible.
- Clean bedding with a soft to medium mattress, fresh linens.
- Workspace in room with a desk, chair, AC power outlets.
- WIFI access with login credentials.
- Adequate closet space with hangers.
- Toilet paper, tissues, soap, and clean towels.
- If applicable, complete payment and check-in before arrival to avoid any delays.
- If applicable, provide the lodging staff with a credit card to cover incidental expenses (WIFI, phone calls, snacks, room service, etc.) not included in the main bill.
Food
- Lodging with a restaurant and room service is preferred.
- It is common for hosts to leave a “Welcome Basket” in the room. While a “Welcome Basket” is not required, Frank would appreciate some assorted fruit, assorted unsalted raw nuts, and several bottles of drinking water (preferably Aquafina) for each night’s stay.
- Please provide lunch at a restaurant that has a menu that offers a wide selection of choices. No meal required before a service or following an evening service.
Thank you for providing lodging that is secure, clean, comfortable, quiet, and conducive to good health.

Altar Call Helpers
Please assign several men to assist Frank during altar calls. Instruct the men to stay alert, pray silently, and only make physical contact with people when necessary. Please keep people waiting for prayer in the aisles until space becomes available at the front. Should anyone start to fall, have the man standing behind them assist by cushioning their descent and guiding them safely to the floor, ensuring they and others are unharmed. Once individuals are prepared, aid them in standing so they may return to their seats. Take measures to safeguard individuals who are highly emotional from causing harm to themselves or others.
Disclaimer: People who choose to come to the front of a service for prayer assume full responsibility for what happens to them. Frank Butler Ministries Inc. is not responsible or liable for any claim, loss or injury.
