Prosperity
The Bible teaches how to prosper.
Become a Christian and give God first place in your
life Proverbs 28:13 He who conceals
his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have
mercy. Matthew 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and
all these things will be added to you. Please read How to Become a Christian.
Think on God's Word Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law will not depart from your mouth, but
you will meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to
all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then
you will have good success.
Believe prosperity is God's will Deuteronomy 8:18 Remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives
you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant. Proverbs 10:22
The blessing of the Lord brings wealth. Psalm 35:27 Let the Lord be magnified,
which has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.
Pray for prosperity Psalm 118:25 O Lord I pray, send now prosperity.
Have faith in God, His promises, and His power to
prosper you 2 Chronicles 20:20
Believe in the Lord your God and you will be established; believe His prophets,
and you will prosper.
Be
patient Psalm 37:7 Rest in the Lord
and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his
way
Work hard Proverbs 10:4 Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent
hands bring wealth. Proverbs 14:23 In all labor there is profit: but idle talk
leads only to poverty. Psalm 128:2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.
Be prepared for opposition Isaiah 54:15 Whoever attacks you will surrender to you. 17 No weapon
formed against you will prosper, every tongue which rises against you in
judgment you will condemn.
Obey
God Deuteronomy 29:9 Keep the words
of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you
do.
Be a generous
giver Proverbs 11:25 A generous man
will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. Proverbs 22:9
A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.
Luke 6:38 Give and it will be given to you.
Give your tithes (10% of income) and offerings
(donations) to the church you attend Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the Lord with your wealth and with
the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty.
Malachi 3:10-12 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be
food in My house. Test me in this, says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will
not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you
will not have room enough for it. I will prevent pests from devouring your
crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit, says the Lord
Almighty. Then all the nations will call you blessed.
Practice humility Proverbs 22:4 By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor,
and life.
Obey the "Golden
Rule" Luke 6:35 Do to others as you
would have them do to you.
Be
content regardless of circumstances Philippians 4:11-13 I have learned to be content whatever the
circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have
plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation,
whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all
things through Christ who strengthens me.
Be passionate in all that you do Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work at it with all
your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. |
