The
Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible is the Word of
God. It is God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters
(2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13).
The Godhead
We believe in God the
Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Luke
3:22).
Jesus Christ is God's only begotten
Son
We believe:
- In His virgin birth
- In His sinless life
- In His miracles
- In the saving power of His shed
blood
- In His death on the
Cross
- In His burial
- In His bodily
resurrection
- In His ascension into heaven to
the right hand of the Father
- In His future return to earth
in power and glory (John 3:16; Acts 1:11; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Philippians
2:5-11).
The Fall of
Man
We believe that man was created in the image of
God, but that by voluntary sinful disobedience he fell from innocence and
purity (Romans 5:12).
God's Plan of
Salvation
We believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is
the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes. That Jesus Christ is
the only way of salvation (Romans 1:16; Mark 1:15; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 John

The New
Birth
We believe that the change which takes place
in the heart and life at conversion when one is born again is a very real one
(John 3:7; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20).
The Church
We believe Jesus Christ
is the Head of His Body the Church, which is made up of Christians worldwide
(Ephesians 1:22-23; I Corinthians 12:12, 27).
Water Baptism
We believe that
baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward work (Matthew
28:19).
The Lord's Supper
We believe in the commemoration of the Lord's Supper by the
symbolic use of the bread and juice of the vine (1 Corinthians 11:24,
25).
Fruit of the Holy
Spirit
We believe Christians should show spiritual
fruit as evidence of a Spirit-filled life (Matthew 7:20; 1 Corinthians
12:1-11).
Holy Spirit
Baptism
We believe in the baptism in the Holy
Spirit as on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:4; 10:46; 19:6).
Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We believe
that the Holy Spirit has gifts to bestow upon the Christian to help them in
their personal life and to enable them to build the church (1 Corinthians
12:1-11).
Healing
We believe healing is part of the Gospel and is received by faith
in Jesus Christ (Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:18; James 5:14-16; 1 Peter
2:24).
Evangelism
We believe evangelism is the responsibility of every Church and
every Christian (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Acts 1:8;
10:42).
The Second Coming
We believe Jesus Christ will return to earth to reign and judge all
people (Matthew 24:27, 30; 2 Timothy 4:1; Revelation 1:7; 11:15; 19:11-14;
20:1-6).
Final Judgment
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the
lost; the saved to everlasting life and the lost without Christ to everlasting
damnation (Mark 16:16; Revelation 20:11-15).
Hell
We believe that hell is the
place of eternal torment for all who reject Christ as the Savior (Revelation
20:10,15).
Heaven
We believe that heaven is the place of eternal blessing for all who
receive Christ as the Savior (Revelation 21:3-4).
